Wellness Programs at the Spectrum Therapy and Wellness Center

Independent Wellness

The Independent Wellness Program is open to any Spectrum Orthopaedics, Inc. patient, post Spectrum Therapy patient, or any patient referred for the Independent Wellness Program by a physician. Membership includes a fitness assessment and orientation to the equipment. Facility hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 8 PM and Saturday, from 7 AM to 1 PM.

Aqua Arthritis Pool Class

This class is specifically designed for people with arthritis or joint pain. Our goal is for you to increase your range of motion and strengthen your muscles. The class consists of a warm-up, light cardio exercise, toning, cool down, and stretching. The Aquatic Arthritis Pool Class is open to all ages and activity levels. This class is available to all wellness members as well as to any Spectrum patient. The class meets two days a week from 12:00 – 12:50; classes are Monday and Thursday, or Tuesday and Friday. It is free to current wellness members.

Weight Management

This eight week program is designed for individuals who need guidance in starting a fitness or weight loss program. The Weight Management program is open to all ages and activity levels. The program consists of a pre and post assessment, individualized workout plan, dietary analysis and personalized assistance with your program.

Personal Training

This program is designed for individuals who want an extra edge in their fitness routine. Participants will train with a certified personal trainer in a one-on-one format. Personal training is offered in packages of 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week. Access to facility is included for the duration of client’s training period. 

Sports Enhancement

This program is personally designed to help enhance the athlete’s strength and conditioning. The Sports Enhancement Program consists of one-on-one personal training sessions each week, pre and post assessments, and a wellness membership. Our goal is to challenge and improve athletic physical fitness. This program is open to athletes of any age and level.

Injury Prevention

This program is designed for athletes who have the desire to strengthen their bodies to help prevent the most common injuries that occur during sports. Programs offered include ACL, Shoulder, and Ankle injury prevention. Each program is 6 weeks in length and meets twice a week for 60-90 minutes. Athletes will each take part in a pre and post assessment designed to assess skills based specifically at the program they are participating. Programs are offered individually or in groups of two or three; discounts are offered for group participants.

Golf Specific Training

This four week program is designed to challenge the golfer’s fitness level. The program consists of one-on-one personal training sessions focusing on range of motion and strengthening exercises unique to the golfer.  

S.E.T.S. (Supervised Exercise Training Sessions)

S.E.T.S. is designed for individuals who are interested in independent wellness but are unable to freely move about or have problems with setting up the equipment. Members may attend two or three workouts a week.

Kid's Kick Start to Fitness

This program is designed for kids ages 10-12 who want to join our Independent Wellness program but do not meet the current requirement of 13 years of age. The program consists of 8 supervised exercise sessions which will be used for guidance and education in the proper use of the exercise equipment and exercise techniques. Upon completion of this program the participant may use the facility as an Independent Wellness member, but must be accompanied by an adult. 

Yoga Class

This transformational class is taught vinyasa-flow style, in which yoga poses are linked together and synched to the breath. This class is personalized to suit all levels of yoga experience and cultivates strength, flexibility and optimism. Participants will need to bring in their own mats.
