Dr. Michael L. Lykins

Michael L. Lykins, DO is a Board Certified Osteopathic Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Lykins graduated from medical school at the Ohio University. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedics from the Doctor’s Hospital of Stark County, where he was the Chief Surgery Resident.

While completing his studies, Dr. Lykins received several scholarships, honors, and awards of excellence. He was the East Central Ohio Regional Award Recipient, on the Dean’s List, and a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honor Society.

Dr. Lykins is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He is a former Delegate to the Ohio State Medical Association. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, the Stark County Medical Society, the Ohio Osteopathic Society, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, and is the former Chairman of the Department of Surgery for the Massillon Community Hospital.

Dr. Lykins volunteers in his community as a high school team physician. He enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. He is a faithful Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.
