Dr. Paul W. Welch

Paul W. Welch, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in total joint replacement and general orthopaedics. Dr. Welch earned his Medical Degree from Vanderbilt University. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at the Cincinnati General Hospital and orthopaedic residency at the University of Cinciinnati. He completed a fellowship in hand surgery from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Welch is a Veteran. He was an orthopaedic combat surgeon in the United States Army in Vietnam.

Dr. Welch is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, and the Stark County Medical Society. He is on the Board of Trustees at AultCare- Aultman Hospital.

Dr. Welch is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

Dr. Welch is a Football Hall of Fame Medical Liaison and a team physician for GlenOak schools. Dr. Welch enjoys sailing and snow skiing. His hobby is woodworking.
