On Site Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

For your convenience, Spectrum Orthopaedics, Inc. has an on site one of the world’s only state-of-the-art extremity magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine. The design eliminates the claustrophobic effect of other MRIs. Only the area to be imaged is inserted into the MRI machine. Our technology allows you to relax in a comfortable chair while the MRI quickly takes the scans.

MRI uses a magnetic field and a sophisticated computer system to give consistently reliable and very detailed images of the body. We use it for high image quality scanning of soft tissue areas such as tendons, ligaments, and muscles. MRI produces very clear images of the hand, wrist, elbow, foot, ankle, and knee.

MRI can help provide information for a fast and accurate diagnosis and possibly reduce the need for exploratory surgery or other diagnostic procedures. Our extremity MRI machine is fast, comfortable, and convenient.
